Timothy Lee has a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering. He then did a postdoctoral fellowship and eventually become a senior scientist at SANOFI where he was involved in the optimization of biologics processes to improve product yield. His area of expertise include bacterial and mammalian cell culture fermentation, primary protein recovery and column chromatography. Dr. Lee has also worked as a biopharmaceutical consultant for the NIH, DARPA and Department of Defense (DoD) on government funded projects. He then moved to Allergan, California where he served as Director of Research and Development formulating Botox for different medical indications such as osteoarthritis, reticular back pain and migraine. He is currently the Chief Scientist and Head of R&D at Prollenium Medical Technologies working on new Hyaluronic Acid formulations and bead technologies to bring dermal products to market. He has also published several patents & well established peer-reviewed journals and presented extensively globally over the last several years.
